My colleague and I combined our two classes—a group of Wilson Reading students and a group of Orton-Gillingham students, six Grade 5 and 6 students in total—to try Decodify together. I was amazed at how seamlessly all of the students accessed the game, despite coming from two different structured literacy programs. The students were joyfully competitive, highly engaged, and consistently applied their decoding strategies to multisyllabic vowel-consonant-e words with accuracy and independence.

As a parent in 2025 I think most of us would agree that a big struggle is the amount of screen time our kids have. I, like many parents, am regularly trying to find alternatives through activities, outings or socializing.  So when you find something your child can engage with, have fun AND learn- it's like finding a unicorn. Decodify is that unicorn!

Decodify has been truly remarkable in supporting our child’s learning at home. The concepts are broken down in a way that our child immediately understood, and the progress was noticeable almost instantly. What surprised us most was how the entire family became involved—we were laughing, playing, and learning together. It not only strengthened our child’s academic skills but also brought so much joy back into our nightly routines. I cannot recommend Decodify enough for families looking for a supportive, and enjoyable learning tool.
